Power Market Design and Development

The very first capacity building session, by CPPA-G, of the power sector on Power Market Design and Development, was commenced in November 2016. Power Market Development Training (PMD) was delivered by four foreign power market experts from MRC. The primary objective of PMD program was to introduce the concept and develop the understanding and capacity of people of power sector on the design and development of wholesale competitive market. The PMD training program was developed in three shifts: Shift 1 was from November 4th to November 6th , Shift 2 was from November 9th to November 11th and the Shift 3 was from November 18th to November 21st at Marriott Islamabad
